How to Check Npower Device Data Balance and Sim Balance

Previously, I walked Npower Volunteers through on how to take their attendance with their mobile device. Now, I’m going to show you how to check your data balance and Sim Card balance. You might need data to mark your attendance, access digital content and that call for checking of balance.

All Npower Device comes with MTN Sim Card. You will need to configure your device to start enjoying the full benefit and accessing digital contents and learning materials.

The Npower program is partnering with MTN to distribute the Npower devices to beneficiaries of the program. This partnership means that the Npower devices are distributed with MTN sim cards. Although the Npower MTN Sim cards look like every other MTN sim card you buy, there are quite a few differences between the MTN Sim card you will buy along the road and the Npower MTN Sim card that ships with your devices.

As an Npower volunteer, you are entitled to a free data subscription of 750MB every month and a free airtime of N250 every month too.

Now, many people are stuck trying to check their balance or recharge their phone. That’s why we deem it necessary to prepare this walkthrough to help you.

HOW TO CHECK DATA BALANCE ON NPOWER DEVICE

By dialing a specific code on your phone, you will be able to know your data balance.

To do so, simply dial *559*24# and send

Your available data balance will pop up.

HOW TO CHECK ACCOUNT BALANCE ON NPOWER SIM

To see how much airtime you have left on your phone, simply dial *558# on your Device and your account balance will be displayed.

HOW TO RECHARGE YOUR NPOWER DEVICE MTN LINE

If you need to load airtime to your sim card, you don’t need to use the same code with normal MTN line.

The code to recharge Npower MTN sim is *557*recharge card pin code#

Remember: your Npower device cannot accept any other sim card aside from the pre-assigned MTN Sim Card. So handle your MTN Sim carefully.
