Already, the Federal Government seeks to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to come clean and declare and pay their appropriate tax due to the government. A minimum of 3,700 N-Power volunteers will be selected to work as Community Tax Liaison Officers to work in their states of residence with the state’s tax authorities.
Ultimately, N-Power Tax volunteers can aspire to a life-long career in finance or allied fields. Possible destinations include:
- Tax Assessor/ Collector.
- Financial Analyst
- Tax Auditor
- Legal and Compliance Manager
Luckily, those selected will be trained and deployed to various community tax liaison offices nationwide. They will work for 2 years and will be paid their monthly stipends within this period.
In addition to their monthly stipends, they will enjoy Npower devices like Ipad, Computer and many other learning materials.

Here is How Candidates was Selected For Npower Tax Programme
Unemployed graduates: Only those who are currently Unemployed at the time of physical verification will make it to the final selection.
Age: There will be an assessment on the age of applicants. Only those within the ages of 18-35 years made it at the pre-selection and will stand a change at the final selection.
Education: This category is strictly for graduates and as such, those to be selected must be a graduate (Bachelors or Higher National Diploma) and must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Programme
There will be Special preference to those who graduated in the following courses
- Psychology and other allied disciplines in the social sciences.
If your name is not in the above list, then try to go through the selection preference to know if you didn’t meet some criteria.
