Nigeria Youth Investment Fund Application Portal – (NYIF) is an initiative of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to support youths of the country who have interesting and innovating ideas that needs funding. The government will give them an interest free loan from 250, 000 to 50 million naira to support their business idea.

The government said the created the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund to as part of her effort to address the raging #EndSARS Protest and equally targeted at lifting millions of Nigerian youths out of poverty before 2023.

Nigeria Youth Investment Fund Application Portal has been announced and all those interested in accessing the interest free loan from the government will be able to apply following the portal instructions and requirements.

The scheme is managed by the federal ministry of youth and sports development and funded by the central bank of Nigeria. A total of 75 Billion Naira will be disbursed to youths of the federal republic of Nigeria who followed the cbn guidelines to apply on the nyif portal at www.nyif.nmfb.com.ng

Who is Eligible to Apply for Nigeria Youth Investment Fund?

Both formal business enterprise owners and Informal Business Enterprises (Individuals and Sole Proprietors) can apply. In those cases, they must be a Nigerian youth within the ages of 18-35 years with a business domiciled in Nigeria, and a working bank verification number.

Those with Formal Business Enterprises (Youth Owned Enterprises) will have to submit CAC certificate of incorporation, a Business questionnaire; with list of directors and phone numbers, tin and other requirements as specified on the nyif portal 2020.

Who cannot Apply for NYIF?

Those who are beneficiary of any NMFB loan or any other government loan schemes that remain unpaid are not eligible to apply.
