NPower Transition 2020, See Login, Registration Portal, And Closing Date On NPVN Dashboard

Today, I am going to talk about the NPower Transition programme, how to login and select a job from the several job placement on the npvn dashboard. You will also get to know the NPower Transition Closing date among other things.

The social investment programme team is making everything possible to give npower beneficiaries a permanent job after 3 years of working as a volunteer.

Earlier on, we talked about Npower permanence which is aimed at providing permanent employment to all the npower volunteers. There was also a development that NPower 2016 volunteers will be employed as community police.

Now, see what is on about the NPower Transition.

What is NPower Transition 2020?

According to an online definition, transition is the process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another. Therefore, NPower Transition is the process of changing from been a temporal employer or assistant teacher to a permanent worker.

This is part of the plans by Npower Nigeria to find suitable job placements for its 2016/2017 volunteers. The N-power team came up with a Transition Package, where beneficiaries of the N-power programme can choose from several job placements on the npvn portal or profile.

Volunteers of the programme should note that this transition package is now visible on the npvn dashboard of volunteers. Volunteers are to login to the npvn.npower.gov.ng dashboard to choose from the list of available permanent jobs.

Available Jobs on the NPower Transition Portal 2020

  1. Start a Business with a GEEP Loan:

100,000 Naira Loan to enable you begin a business in your community. The NPower in partnership with GEEP will give you a loan of 100,000 (One hundred thousand naira) to start your own business. This is not a loan and you are not liable to pay back.

  1. Become a Teacher:

Teach as a School teacher in your community. You will be employed as a permanent teacher in your community; you will become a federal government employer and enjoy all the benefits of a full time teacher and not an assistant anymore.

  1. Start a Farm / Expand your Farm:

Begin farming and start feeding the nation.

  1. Become a Field / Data Agent:

Work as an Agent for a Bank, Research Agency or Consumer Goods company.

  1. Become a Community Policeman:

Join the Police force to secure and protect your community.

What is SANEF?

SANEF (Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility) is a project powered by the Central Bank of Nigeria, Deposit Money Banks, Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, licensed Mobile Money Operators and Shared Agents with the primary objective of accelerating financial inclusion in Nigeria.

Why SANEF?

The project seeks to deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria through an integrated ecosystem with strong regulatory oversight, consumer protection and interoperable systems with limited concentration risk. It will create a platform for Nigerian owned financial services companies to grow whilst empowering and creating jobs for Nigerians. So, wherever you see the SANEF identity, you can perform basic financial services such as; account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, funds transfer as well as bills payment.

How to Participate in N-POWER TRANSITION

You are required to login to your npvn portal to choose the sector you are interested in the Npower enhancement program.

Note that you can select Multiple Interest Areas.

Who is Eligible to participate in the Npower Transition Enhancement Programme?

Please note that only volunteers in Batch A of the N-power programme are eligible to participate in the npower transiition programme.

So, only 2016 npower beneficiaries are eligible to select a permanent placement under npower transition.
